Just wondering how much y'all pay for the leases you are in. How many acres, how many members, and how much you pay. I am in Clarke Co. and was just trying to figure what average cost are.

When you have one block of woods per several thousand acres of fields, those wood blocks are expensive! Way too rich for me though.

Yep, I bid on a full 16th section a couple years ago in Sharkey Cty. I found out the bid only went for around $7/acre the previous time so I bid $10/acre. The first bid they opened was for like $30/acre....I was out so I just watched the rest of the openings. Ended up going for close to $50/acre.Blink

I know you wanna talk about it! Huh

The question is, should you talk about it? Confused

I wonder who's feelings are gonna get hurt when somebody uses this information to go snatch a lease out from someone else?

Told you so

Got in on a place in Utica last year with a couple of buddies, we won the bid at $20 acre and suspect it will continue going up. I have 80 acres in Raymond off Old PortGibson I picked up at end of season owner wanted $25 but ended up taking $20acre. Good land comes with a good price nowadays.
