This thing is almost to tight! I think I may just shoot a full. This is 40 yds with 1 5/8 oz tss 8's, undertaker choke. i can see a miss coming on a walking bird.

That's a pretty hot core and you could afford to open it up some to get better 20" coverage. I'd prolly just leave it alone tho. Great pattern!

I have an 870 youth also with a super full and it only got between 125-135 pellets in 10" at 40. I don't know what makes the beretta so tight but it will outshoot all the 12's around our camp.

yes mine is a youth model also. I shot two birds with it last year at around 20 yard a piece and it stone cold laid them down. Not even a flop, however, on paper its a little disappointing. I'm going to let my wife, HOPEFULLY, kill one with it this year. i'm shooting Federal Hevi 13 #6's out of it. I think??

I don't like to shoot birds past 30 yars, so I think it should do the trick for her

The TSS shot has far more penetration than hevi or nitros! I've seen it first hand on galvanized tin. It's some bad stuff
