Heard a couple of reports of poults with hens this week. One guy on Ducksouth has a game cam photo of newly hatched poults. Figured we would see them early this year. Put a camera on a dust bowl. We'll see what happens.

I stalked up to an overgrown rye grass field yesterday. I saw a hen's head pop up a few times, and there was a lot of the grass around her moving all around, so i guessed there was some rummaging around in there around her.

My wife said a hen started hanging out behind my shed today. Hope I can find her nest and keep the hay cutters off of it that is if she doesnt already have little ones. She didnt see any but they could have been in the field when the hen was standing in my drive way.
