Didn’t get to go at daylight this morning had to drop the kids off at daycare, but got in the woods around 9 and got settled in where I knew there was a bird close by. 9:30 I have 3 Jakes come in and they quickly leave. I walk and do a little calling and scouting with no luck but decide to check a green field on the way out about 12:30. I get to the curve just before the green patch and let out a series of yelps and I am cut off by a gobbler in the patch. I set up just in time to hear him gobble just around the curve. Next thing I see is the most beautiful sight in the world. It all ended with a little floppage. Thank you Lord for this opportunity!
