2014 Bull Nettler Hardhead Classic

Enough trash talk, time to trash fish!The 2014 Bull Nettler Hardhead classic is set to take place for the entire month of July, registration starts immediately.

Entry fee will $5 cash. Capt hardhead petehalsted will be collecting this via mail or in person and all money collected will donated to sj's food bank.This needs to be sent in by July 1st. Late registration will run for entire tournament but will be $6 after July 1st.Tournament will run from sun up July 1st 2014 to sun down July 31st.

Tournament will be run on a points system, points awarded as follows...
...2pts longest hardhead,no weighing to avoided litigation due to fin injuries
...1pt longest gaff-top
...1pt widest sting ray
...1pt longest croaker
...1pt longest ladyfish
...1pt smallest hardhead
...1pt best hardhead caught on artificials
...1pt best fish caught on fly rod

Three categories will be awarded prizes...
...Biggest hardhead
...overall points winner
...ugliest fish(to be determined by fan vote)

There will be a kids division ages 15 or younger, same rules as adults except kids entry is free just need to make sure and register with pete.

Prizes to be awarded at the Bull Nettler 1st annual Hardhead Classic fish fry now in the planning stages for after the tournament.

Pictures of fish must be submitted with ruler in picture,like on top of a cooler.

First tie breaker is first to be entered in tounament, second tie breaker is first entry submitted, third tie breaker is eats the most fish at the fish fry, fourth tie breaker is any fish grabbed by hand, fifth tie breaker will be any fish caught on artificial lures. Should a sixth tie breaker be needed this would result in a fish off... rules to be made up later.

Edit #1...entrants limited to first 1000 to get money to pete but you may enter as many times as you like i.e....if you submit an ugly fish photo that just aint that ugly feel free to get pete another 5 or 6 bucks and try again.

(It should be noted here that these rules are subject to change and amendification all throughout the tournament,this of course being at the discretion of the hardhead board of trustees as soon as they step forth and nominate themselves)
