Sprayed all our overgrown plots from last year this week. Plan to plant the same seed mixture of rye, wheat, but dropping the red clover. Will post pictures and updates as we did last year.

Why dropping them clover? Did they not come up using this method or is there something else?

Good luck. STM works so long as you have a decent amount of thatch going down on the seed. We have good success with it.

Heck Randy, I have seeds that grow in the cracks and crevices of my 4 wheeler! haha
That's a fact. The key is moisture retention. STM really proves helpful with retaining moisture during dry periods. On the other hand, if you try STM with little vegetation, it is the equivalent to tossing seed down on hard, dry dirt. The seed will sprout after a heavy dew. If no more rains come, the seedlings will then wither and die.
