Did pretty good again this mornin for a quick trip. All caught on chart skitterwalk or lemonhead. Was a funny bite on the topwater. They would slam it. But not the first one was hooked in the mouth. They would have both sets of hooks in them from the gill plate back.

Yea. It is starting to get back to normal. When we first got there is was bad dirty. But once the tide got to moving good it cleared up real nice and went from dark tea lookin to nice and green

Larimer, did you try a suspending bait? A lot of times if my strike to hook up ratio isn't where I think it should be then I switch to a suspending twitch bait. I have to admit it's hard to change if I'm getting strikes on top though.

I did. I threw a catch 2000 and a corky original for about 45 min but never had a bite on either.
Those would have been the next two baits I would have thrown too. Nice catch by the way
