I had a bundle of poults on my cameras this time last year. I think 13 total made it. I’ve only seen one on camera this year. Anyone seeing a better hatch than I am?

Seeing a pretty good hatch in the northeast part of the state. Saw more poults in May than we've saw the past couple years combined.

I am south of the state line, but it is super close to the line. It would probably be applicable to the SW portion of the state. We have been seeing a couple of hens with about 14 poults. They were there yesterday morning (June 19th), and they have been there for about a month. I have another place I'll check the first weekend of July when the official PPH count starts.

Another hen and her brood showed up a couple or days ago. There were 3 hens and 18 poults about the size of chickens on the pond levee. That is a good sight to see.

Saw a few more poults since my last post. Biggest brood group was 3 hens and at least 12 poults of mixed sizes.
