What is the average weight of mature bucks in your the area you hunt. Please list area you hunt so we can compare. Around simpson county a good buck will weigh bout 175-185

I hunt near Utica. We mostly have 18 y.o. pines, but some hardwoods. The heaviest buck killed weighed 190, but occasionally we kill one that will weigh 250. Strange huh.

i hunt in panola cty the average weight is from 165 to 200.

I hunt in eastern rankin county, close to the pearl river. Average weight ranges from 160-180 I would say. If you kill one thats 190-200 its considered a big deer.

I hunt around webster county. 150 t0 180 is what i mostly see. My father&law killed a buck pushing 200 two years ago, he was a bruiser. Dragging him out the thicket was no fun. Super deer! The land i hunt that is considered a giant.

I live in Jackson County. Average weight is 140 to 160 on mature bucks.

In DeSoto and Issaquena county most 3.5 will be around 175-190 and 4.5 and up usually between 195-215.

I hunt in Kemper,Lauderdale, and some in Clark County and a good buck will range from 160 to 180#'s.  Rarely do they get in the 200's unless they are really old and you catch them pre-rut.

In Forrest it woukd be around 165-175lbs with a big one around 190 every now and then. That is if you kill him at the first of season.

Killed one on Chickasaw WMA 2 years ago weighed 190, but just a 2 or 21/2 year old deer.
