I've shot the 100gr out of a 25-06 and the 110gr out of a .270 Wby. Killed a deer with each rifle last season and they did what I expected them to do. Very accurate out of both rifles. That being said, I've killed plenty of deer with conventional bullets and never had a problem. I'll continue to use these bullets in both rifles until I run out of them. After that, I may go back to a Sierra GameKing.
I shoot the the 168gr TSX in my 300 win mag, 30-06 and 308, deer and hogs dont know what hit'em, will punch through both shoulder on a big hog at 250yds and fold it up like a cheap lawn chair.
I have my son shooting the 130 gr out of his 270 and he dropped a 188 lb 7 pt in his tracks. He shot the deer quartered to him in the front shoulder and I found bullet under hide on opposite side hind quarter. Bullet broke 3 ribs and hip bone and stayed intact. Made a believer out of me.
Every rifle I hunt with is shooting the TTSX. I honestly can't come up with a negative thing about them except for there cost. We have killed hundreds of deer with them and zero complaints!

In my experience, they do perform as advertised. 13 deer with them in the last 2 seasons and I haven't recovered a bullet yet. Only you can decide if it's worth the price. They aren't that high if you hand load. That being said, I don't really place much emphasis on the bullet, but more on shot placement. My 2 rifles right now are shooting TTSX in one and SST in the other......very much opposite ends of the spectrum.
