Www.thirdhandarchery.com and look at the rag bag. You can take old clothes etc... and fill it up and works better than any other bag and lasts a lot longer. I got 2500 shots in mine and it has out lasted the morrel by 1500 shots and still going strong.
Its not really a bag target, but I built my own backyard target last year, for less than a good bag target would cost.

I just got a Morrell Bone collector and like it. Field point only but 4 sides including 9 ball and dartboard making for some variety. I ordered from MPW and it was in Memphis in two days. easy arrow removal
Hurricane bag target. Has held up great, going on year 2.
Any bag target will last a lot longer if you don't leave them outside in the weather. The ones I've had, the the wore out, not the insides. The sun dries them out.

Bingo ! They want last a year if left out .
I've gotten away from the bags and have great luck with the rinehart square foam blocks , they last very long and you can shot broadheads also of needed .
I have been shooting a block pup for 3 years. Can't shoot the middle anymore bc it is gone for the most part. My arrow goes in all the way to fletchings. So I am shooting the corners now. I like it because I take it back and forth to work to shoot it. Next summer will probably be it's last year to stop my arrows though.
Bag targets...

Without doubt, Rinehart makes the best, longest lasting on the market...

This is my second Hurricane Bag Target. First one lasted 4 years. I build my frames with eye hooks and s hooks so that the target swings. Just my thought but seems to me that if the swing absorbs some the shot instead of the target taking it all, might give your target a little more life.
