Beulah Lake

Anyone fished Beulah lately ?, I'm planning on being over that way the first week of Aug. I've never been on the lake before. Looking for crappie or bream. My ole ugly brother in law wants to go fishing over there somewhere.

I would recommend going to Lake Whittington instead. Beulah has not had good fishing for years.

Yes it does have good bream fishing, bring you some small lures and a few treble hook spoons with a couple of spinning rods the white bass will be chasing schools of shad. Fun to catch!

Thanks, without given up any honey holes, where would be a good place to launch and fish?......[confused]

Lake whittington or benoit only has one public ramp, Little Mans landing. Go like your going to Benoit outing club. At top of levee go left and stay on levee until you see the little mans sign.

Beulah lake is shallow this time of year with just a couple of deep holes to troll for crappie. Flying carp are also pretty bad. They have lowered the dam and the lake gets too low now.
