I used to use one in college while in Stark vegas.
You better be in shape, though. A bicycle will purt a hurting on you like you have never seen!!! I couldnt believe how bad it hurt me and i am in pretty good shape. Get a big ole fat replacement seat, though. Those factory seats are for kid butts, not grown folk's butts.

yeah I start riding my way before season starts to avoid dying on one of my early morning rides...also, make sure that you have a light on the front of it. Nothing hurts your pride (and other things) worse than hitting a log in the dark

I tried it once at a WMA two years ago. Me and a buddy wanted to get way back in the woods off the road so we took off way before daylight. We covered alot of ground very quickly and made very little noise. It was impressive. Well we got to where we wanted to be and stashed our bikes in the edge of the woods. In the middle of our hunt we have a thunderstorm come through, but continued hunting because we were on the birds. Well as luck would have it, we were unsuccessful and decided to head back to the truck. The rain made the roads and woods so muddy you couldn't get anywhere fast on the bike. We got off and pushed the bikes all the way back to the truck. Oh and mud piled up on the back tire of both bikes until the tires wouldn't turn so we had to push and drag them back. It was a miserable day, but still better than working to me. As long as it's dry and no rain in forecast, you'll like it alot.
