I know the hunting on the river in Madison and yazoo county is great, what about in vaiden and west? Does that atalla/Holmes corridor grow the same caliber bucks?

Overall bigger body and racks in Madison, Yazoo but some really good deer all along Big Black especially where overall management, food, age, etc are practiced. I've hunted mostly Between Edwards to West.
Ain't no deer on the big black river. That's just a myth, like the black panther or a woman that never nags
yeah right.

try.....www.blackriverbucks.com

I'll try to update it soon with recent pictures.
The main artery seems to be Vaughan to Flora area, but still great deer hunting north and south of there. I have friends that harvest good bucks in Durant on a consistent basis.
All the big deer are in Madison County. Pay no attention to GI. :)
