Looks like I got me a new Blazer skiff. It just needs a bench seat and a tiller handle for the 250. The boat seems massive without a console and leaning post.

I brought her to the boat yard today, and I hope I can get it finished before too long. I'm going crazy without fishing, so a buddy and I are probably going to try wading on the beach this evening maybe around some of the reefs. I saw a bunch of birds diving out around the poles along the beach yesterday, so maybe we can find a few if the weather allows

[biggrin] That would be a wild ride hanging on to that 250..
I want to see a video when you roll with that boat using a tiller. Lol. 😱😱😀
Man what a conundrum!!...fishing's gonna take away from your boat fixing's gonna take away from your fishing....could make a fella go crazy(er)[omg]
I don't trust myself cutting the deck and refiberglassing, so I have someone else doing it. Now, I'm just waiting, dreading putting the console back in and reconnecting all of the wires.
That's going to be an awesome boat for down here. I love the room and ride you'll have with that boat! Congrats!
My favorite hull of all time. Love the big 24 blazers. I'm still waiting for them to put a bench type seat in front of the outboard. Believe they'd have family friendly conscious boaters lined up at the door.
Thanks, WM. Sorry if my post was confusing but this is the boat I've had for about a year now. It's a perfect boat for down here. It's just having some work done that required the console being taken out, so I figured I'd take a picture of it without the console

You forget you're on a bay boat sometimes. I absolutely love the hull. It'll cut through a chop like it's nothing

I don't think they are Bay Boats! (should be called Sound Boats or something that represents bigger than "bay" water!)

I love the 24 BB for the MS Coast! When comparing the performance, quality and price, I don't know if there is something better for our waters.
JLadner, how skinny can you get in that boat? Say with two adults on board?
According to blazer, the boat draws 13" fully loaded, but with gear and people onboard I haven't really went any shallower than about 2.5'

My buddy's dad had one loaded down and we had it in about knee deep water at ship with the jack plate up
Even without the console, she sure is pretty!

Thank ya, shooter. She'll look prettier when she can get a little slime back on her
Mount you 2 pulleys 1 in each corner of the transom get you some cable run from the motor through the pulleys put a handle on each end and roll on!
