Bon Secour 7-5-14 AM

With the fam in Gulf Shores for a week or so, brought the fishing boat. Me and my wife gave it a try on Bon Secour this morning. Ran out of the ICW to some pilings, did not try any reefs. She got a few gaf-tops and crockers, and one slot Red on shrimp. I got one 16" spec. using a Matrix shad shrimp creole on a white jighead. We got a later start than I would have liked (0700), and it got hot quickly. We tried a couple of spots and headed back in by 1115. Bay started out fairly rough, but smoothed out at about 0830. Gonna try around Ono island tomorrow night. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
