I've had great luck with it. But it's high. You can get a mix from co op that's almost the same for half the price

Spot on---- I planted it 3 years ago , it worked well and very nice folks to deal with,,, but you can save money buy buying the same stuff from co- op .
Is it significantly higher? Im only looking to plant 1 acre. Thanks for the feedback.

If your only planting 1 acre , you will probably be better off just buying it. It's a good mix for sure ,
I planted it last yr and will plant again this year. I don't do enough to mix my own so a bag, maybe two, is all I get.
I like buckbuster also when it first came out it was 22.00 a bag now 30.00 or higher now I go to co-op.
Never used the seed, but know the owner. He is an avid deer hunter and nice guy.

And crazy as a sprayed roach!!!! [biggrin]

It's good seed and you won't have any problems out of it. I will say, we got some Naked Oats from there last year and they couldn't handle the cold winter. They were yellow by early December. Very disappointed with that particular seed and won't use it again. The regular feed oats withstood the cold and stayed green until burndown in April.
What is the mixture and how much land will a bag cover?
buck busters seed

I have planted it the last 2 years and I have been very pleased with it. Great seed for all wildlife in my opinion.
