CCA Biloxi Bay Thu Evening Tournament

The next one will be in a little over a week on July 24th.

There were some ideas about mixing up the format a little this month... what y'all say?

Include flounder? We could still do a 3 fish stringer but change it one of three ways...

(1) strictly a flounder tournament this month: Heaviest 3 flounder determines winner.

or

(2) Heaviest three fish stringer determines winner and the stringer can be any combination of speckled trout & flounder.

or

(3) Keep it a speck tournament.

I've never fished this trny(tried to make it twice) so my 2 cents aint worth nothing, but adding flounder would make sure i made the trip simply because i know i can get these from the banks and piers.

With that being said does it HAVE to have a flounder in the mix or if someone comes up with 3 trout still be good. Haven't yet caught a flounder on a skitterwalk

Never fished these tournaments. What do you have to do enter and is it
Limited to the bay?

Just show up to biloxi board walk bait shop for registration at 5ish i think and be back by weigh in time.
If i have my boat trailer back together in time, ill be running to horn

CCA Biloxi Bay Thursday Evening Tournaments

Biloxi Boardwalk Marina Bait Shop. The tournament is open to CCA members as well as non-members.
Registration is 5:00pm to 5:15pm. (I usually get there about a quarter till&#8230

Per Person Entry Fee is $10 in Cash OR Lure(s) of $8 min. value (new-in-package).
All boats / anglers must register at the Boardwalk Marina Bait Shop prior to fishing. Fishing can begin as soon as you register. You can come to registration by boat or truck.
Heaviest (3) fish stringer determines the winning boat (or wader… or kayak). Your 3 fish can be flounder or speckled trout or a combination of the two.
In the event of a tie, the longest fish determines the winner (2nd tiebreaker is the first fish weighed).
The Winner takes home all the Cash and Lures!
CCA Biloxi Bay will host these tournaments approximately once per month throughout the summer. Weigh In time will change slightly for each Thursday Tournament based on sunset time.
Thursday, July 24th, Weigh In begins at 8:05pm and ends at 8:20pm.

The next Thursday Evening Tournament is planned for August 21st

no, not limited to any area. Some people fish on boats, some wade, some kayak, some fish from shorelines or piers.

This is just a fun afternoon to get together, tell fishing stories and hang out... and we do a little fishing.

Some months guys bring their wifes / kids and just let them fish while they sit back and sip on a cool beverage.

pete is one of just a handful of people on the Gulf Coast that has the potential to show up with the ever elusive gaffhead and hardtop slam.
