Chandeleur Trip

I have a chance to go on a trip to Chandeleur this weekend. This will be a first time and I've got some questions. As far as licenses/permits, what do I need in addition to the MS license that I have already? Thanks for all feedback!

I assume you are a MS resident...

So you will need the NR Fish and the NR Salt Fish. I think they still offer the 1 day, 3 day and Season (yearly 7/1 to 6/30). Last year the Season was $90, unsure about the 1 day and 3 day. You can buy them most places that sell MS licenses, or online from LA.
Yep LA is all you should need. If you plan to go three times in a year buy the year. The weekend ones are great for a once a year thing but if you have a chance of going again knock it out now.

+1

(plus consider that LA's yearly license is July 1st through June 30th.... no matter when you purchase it... so now is not a bad time of year to make that investment)
And if you're fishing a skiff with a licensed captain (like on the Joka's Wild or I'm Alone) you can get the 3 day pass for $30.
If your going on a charter, the $5 charter license is available

Cost on that is $10
Please let us know how the trip went when you get back! I'm heading out there in 2 weeks.
