Chandeleur

I think JBrew may be heading there this weekend.......

Did'nt find any recent posts on chandeleur but if you type it into the 'search this forum' feature you can bring up all the old posts,,,,,think the last report was from May....welcome to the bull.

I'm heading down in a couple of weeks just wondering. We usually go in Sept but August was all we could find open. Better than not going!!

Thanks! I'm in North Ms but we have been going to Chandeleur almost every year since 1982. We've missed the last few years because we couldn't get a Sept weekend. This year we said to h*** with it and booked in August. Better hot than at work. We haven't been in August in 15 years so I can't remember what to expect.

It's HOT in August!

Maybe you should try for an Oct. trip.I used to do well out there in Oct & NOv.[smile]

I do not believe he ended up going. He'll have to confirm when he gets back from vacation.

Thanks for y'all's help. We are going on the Jokas Wild. Grew up going on the Beachwater II with Les Lala and then with Dean after him. My dad passed away 2 years ago and it doesn't seem right going in the Beachwater without him. I'll post a report when we get back!
