Charters in Destin, Fl

Hey guys I know this isn't Mississippi related but I figured someone on here might have some advice. My fiance and I will be headed down to Destin (seaside specifically) for our honeymoon next week and she actually mentioned that she wanted to go saltwater fishing while we are down there. I have fished there a couple times but mainly just for snapper but while she hunts and fishes, she has never saltwater fished before.

So my question is one, what do you guys think would be the best fish to target down there this time of year? I just want her to have fun and catch something. And two anyone have any references for any specific charters or captains down there? Thanks

If I was going to go on an inshore charter in the Destin area I would go with Capt Daniel Pike. I have never fished with him so this is based on watching him do several shows with Bill Dance on Bill Dance Saltwater.

I saw several inshore angler boats out and about on my last trip to destin, and back at the harbor that evening they had some nice trout on the filet table
