Got recommendations on some cheap polarized sunglasses that will help me see into the water?

I've always used the Strike Kings from walmart. I used to like them better when the little side lenses were part of the ear piece instead of on the main frame though (being on the main frame instead of the folding ear piece makes them bulky to carry in a shirt pocket).
The Penn ones from WalMart go for $25. They aren't too bad for a fill-in job in a pinch. I do not like the Berkley ones there. A&A carries some for $20-$25 as well. I've never used them, but bought a couple pair for deckhands before. He seemed to like them.
Additionally, West Marine carries some really decent ones for $60.
While my costas were at the mothership getting replaced I looked into cheaper glasses to fill in for a few weeks. Here are my thoughts...worth about whatcha paid for it, but comes with a money back guarantee! [tongue]

Cheapest glasses that I would have felt happy with were Magellans from academy for $50. They seemed like good crisp glasses, well made, and fit my face really well.

There were a few decent mid priced options. (covered above)

I ended up getting some Berkley's for academy for $5. They are over by the fishing lures. They filled in ok for a few weeks and cut the glare decently.
I agree with all thats written so far. I had a pair of Decot glasses once thathad interchangeable lenses and a lot of times the color of the lenses made all the difference. By blocking out certain colors it made the fish appear with much sharper contrast. I was really amazed with the rose tinted lenses on clear days and murky water. Blue is great on clear days and clear water. Foggy days I usually used smoke or amber. Late afternoons I usually used yellow. But if you're buying inexpensive glasses you may want to by 2 or 3 different colors. Make sure they have good side Shields so no light can enter through the sides and a long bill hat helps also. Go by the local dive shop and get a bottle of fog clear for diving masks and it'll help keep the lenses clear of fog.
Calcutta, lots of styles and lenses, and a good warranty. Price is not bad either, usually $25 or less per pair.
Where can you get Calcutta? Walmart, Academy? Thanks for all the good input guys. I'm going to get a pair of nice polarized evenutally but money is tight right now so low cost it is.
Gents, just saw this thread. I sell them at my shop. I have Crossfire safety glasses here in Gulfport. Look on the website - www.crossfiresafety.com They have several different lenses and frames. I wear an amber pair that work for me. The lens will stop a 22 cal. bullet at 50 feet. I will not be wearing them to find out but it is on the website. These are sold to our troops. I sell them for $25 - 30 a pair. PM me or call 228-861-1111 (cell) or 228-863-4730 ( shop). I have 5 different combinations at the shop. Hope this helps.
I have had the calcutta sunglasses before. I only buy cheaper sunglasses because I break them or lose them alot and don't want to spend 150$ on something I am prone to break or lose.
Go see Stacy at Kern Optical. She will put fit you in some sunglasses that are unbelievable. Most charter fisherman get them there and she is a great woman. I know that because she is my girlfriend [biggrin] but she knows what she is doing for real. Spend the money and you won't be sorry!
Go by a Phillips Building Supply and pick up some Calcuttas. Love em, especially for the price!!
Watch eBay, you can pick up a pair of costas for under $100 I bought my dad a pair a few months back gently used black frame black lens for $60 free shipping!
The Boot Outlet in Ocean Springs carries a big selection of Calcutta's & Costa Del Mar sunglasses.
Calcutta are the best I have found.

But be careful. There are tons of counterfeit high-dollar sunglasses there too.
My wife got me some iGog's from Gander Mtn. in Hattiesburg. I think they were $25-30. They work great.
