What kind of set up is this and how much does it cost?
Nobody has an idea as to what kind of camera set up this is and about how much it cost to purchase and any monthly fees involved in the 24/7 web access monitoring? Just curious. Thanks!
I have no idea. They were talking about this last year when this crush cam first came out. Search the old threads and see if it helps. I know a guy who took a surveillance video camera with a long cable and hooked it up on a food plot that was close to the camp. He had a dvr attached to record or you could just watch it on a monitor 24/7 as long as the power was on. It was not wireless in anyway though.
Thanks for the response bud! I was just curious if there was A CHANCE I could afford such a set up, cause that would be so cool to watch your favorite hunting spot 24/7.
no idea what that cost but they do have game cameras that are wireless and will text you a picture when it is taken, as long as there is cell service at the camera location

It could also make you early out of work....[laugh]

It would all depend on location, type of cameras, how you send video, etc.
The price can range from a few hundred to several thousand.

If its close to a power source with internet capability, just a simple home security system can work.

Or in the case of a friend of mine near Laredo, TX they spent about 10 grand.
But they have several cameras mounted on telephone poles, they are on a wireless network and have solar panels. He can remotely control the camera and zoom in or pan around, and switch to other cameras. I wouldn't get much work done! Ha!

Or you can get a camera that sends pics via cell phone service, runs @ $10-20 per month plus @ $300-500 for camera

I'm bad to jump up and haul butt to the woods from work as it is, I could see where this would be WAY worse! Lol!
