In regards to the new MS requirement to test all bucks for CWD by either registered taxidermists or at their dropoff freezers---any idea why just bucks? I was also surprised by the "sample" they want you to drop off is the entire head(minus rack if you'd like) plus at least 6 inches of neck. I was thinking it'd be a section of spinal cord or such

They extract lymph nodes from the neck/back jaw area to send off for testing. Thats why they need the head and a little neck.
