Desoto Lake Fishing?

Anybody here fish on Desoto Lake in Coahoma County? My sister has a lake house there and although I have been several times, I have only hung out with them on the pontoon boat and never fished. Thinking of going one weekend to either crappie or catfish fish. Any pointers about the lake for either species? Thanks in advance!

it use to be great, we have a cabin there. The last couple of years the crappie have been hard to catch. best when its slow falling around the willows. Don't troll unless you want gars to break poles and tangle you up. Also wear a life jacket, lots of asian carp to knock you out of boat
