I am having a problem with my arrows fishtailing on longer shots( better than 35 yards ) I am thinking my shafts are too light. I'm shooting a 28" 300 series carbon express radial x weave with a 100 grain tip. shooting at 70 lbs. any suggestions?

Give me a run down of your setup. Bow,rest, vanes. Some bows with a hard cam like a PSE X-FORCE on 70# you may need to step up to a 400 series. But i'm thinking it's the rest. Not runing true to center shot. Or vanes are hitting rest at launch.

fast your old man set it up when I bought it from him last year. pse stinger, whisker buscuit rest, 4" vanes. Me and gary (magnoliagamecalls) are both having fishtailing issues. he is shooting a diamond bow I believe. We both have always shot aluminum arrows and are wondering if the carbons were catching wind or if somehow it was an operator error.

yea we seen a big herd the other day. couldn't figure out how to catch one with the baitcaster though. The high water has had them bunched up. easy targets right now. weathers gettin right for some trap action. I don't like runnin up the river when its cold.
