flounder report

Got the flounder boat ready and hit the bay Thursday night...have never (I repeat) never saw so much boat traffic in the bay at night. I hate to see what its gonna look like tonight after the fireworks. Most seemed to just be riding..and if you know anything about floundering you know what waves crashing on the banks does..dirty water. Couldn't work my favorite banks..had to find very protected water..launched at 830 and back on trailer at 1215. We got our 30 but had to work for them..here's picture of my half.

If anyone is lookin to get into the flounder they are thick all over right now. Took me about 2 hours to get these yesterday morning standing in 1 spot less than 40 yards from the truck. Started with a few bull minnows and finished with belly strips. 1 shy of a limit but ran out of time to find the last one.
