Some nice hard heads,a 15inr and a 14 inr...pre-fishing for the classic.

Then got into some nice flounders, wound up with 8 before i ran out of bull minnows,PM if you want to know where and how.

Six eating sized croakers that are going in the freezer....a ladyfish that owned that end of the pier for a bit.Four very nice sheepshead and puppy drum till we got tired of catching em.One small shark that came un hookedafied right at the pier,

All in all a very fun and prductive night...only downside was leaving the flounder biting.

Het Donk,

When I get home we're going to get together..
Really nice haul, to bad the flounder, ruined the hardhead bite.
Sounds like an awesome evening. I almost there can't wait to drop a line. No better way to unwind after a 14 hour drive.

Seriously though that sounds like a heck of an evening with tons of action.
I always wondered if anyone ever caught anything off that pier.
In the fall you can catch shrimp with a cast net at the launch. May be able to catch em now I'm not sure. Last month the area was full of 2" poggies.
Yep....i lost my cast net a few trips ago off the drive on pier but sure wished i would have had it last night...after the traffic dropped off around 2am the bait was running hard all around that pier,i chased it a little while with a popping cork and bull minnows whatever was running it was'nt interested.
