Dockside Bait and Tackle in slidell have closed their doors. So if any of you were in the practice of sometimes driving over to Dockside to pick up your Matrix or Vortex Shads you can no longer do that and I didn't want any y'all making the drive for nothing. You can still buy them at the local stores and shops and order them online.

Sad to hear but I'm happy Chas can focus his efforts on nothing but his tackle line. My wife and I have driven over a number of times to pick up stuff and chat with the guys. That's a good bunch over there and they'll be missed for sure.

I wonder if someone has kept the boat launch open.Thats a good place to launch.
