Has anyone heard any birds gobbling in or around Holmes county? I have not had time to listen at my place and just wanting to see if any have been sending out some gobbles..

they are gobbling in the Pickens area for sure.  I heard 4 last Sunday on my place and the wind was blowing awfully hard.  Me and my son are going tomorrow morning to listen from the truck.  I'll let you know.

I heard several gobble around the Camp McCain area this week.

I aimed to go listen in the morning. But 26 degrees is what the weatherman is reporting. Not sure i'm up to that.

Didn't get out this morning but went squirrel hunting last Saturday and heard at least four birds gobble.
