[confused] dont understand some ppl.. What were they thinking? A freakin mini "canoe" in waters KNOWN for dangerous shark habitat!!! Are you kidding me? At that point you are not only a moron, but also a bath toy! [drool]

From deep under the water, the kayaks probably look like twelve foot wide-bodies whales drifting on the surface. Nothing more enticing to a shark than to jump up at such simple prey occasionally paddling and splashing the water. Guardian angels working overtime that day. [biggrin]

I take my kayak about a mile off destin beach every year and have seen sharks. But they jus swim away. Never had one harass me. But destin ant australia

Good move though to group as many kayaks together as possible making it a much larger looking object. I wonder if they can get a kayak to do the "Walk The Dog" motion[laugh]
