From deep under the water, the kayaks probably look like twelve foot wide-bodies whales drifting on the surface. Nothing more enticing to a shark than to jump up at such simple prey occasionally paddling and splashing the water. Guardian angels working overtime that day. [biggrin]

I take my kayak about a mile off destin beach every year and have seen sharks. But they jus swim away. Never had one harass me. But destin ant australia
