Had to see what it was going to look like

Since we couldn't get on the water today I came home and took the Mrs shopping and her and I ran some errands. The rest of the day I spent working on my boat. Today I reinstalled the small back live well (now storage compartment) and finished installing all the new wood I replaced in it. I have been wanting to see what it was going to look like so I couldn't help myself and temporarily installed the new seats that have been sitting in my back room for 2 months now. Sill plenty of cosmetic stuff to pretty up on it so it doesn't look like a Sandford and Sons barge but this gave me a decent idea on what it will look like when it's done. I have a cheap grey indoor/outdoor carpet picked out for it until I can have the Hydra-Turf put in it. I was trying to beat the rain and was running out of daylight when I took these. You can see the tops of the 2 consoles I need to repaint in the photos. Very small area to repaint. The 12 gal gas tank I bought for it just barely fits in the engine compartment but I repositioned the bilge pump and got it to fit OK.

Thanks brother. When it's done your going to have to come down one day.
Looking like it is all working out the way it should, looks good.
Looking great SJ! Can't wait to see some fishing pics! Won't be long...
I love it SJ...Looks great
Dang that thing looks good SJ! You have done an outstanding job on it. Doesn't even look like the same boat!
It's getting closer, and closer, and closer....

Looking sharp there!
When you get done....we are gonna need a before and after....[biggrin]
I want to see a picture of that thing with fish slime all over it, then a close up shot of the gps with some lats and longs.

Looks really good SJ.

This is as much of a before as I can come up with. This is what I seen when I pulled into the guy's yard to look at it. It had 1' of oak leaves and acorn hulls in it and was full of spiders and wet mud and big balls of cut off wiring was laying everywhere..

All I can say is it looks like there is room for me !!!
You've done a fine job on that rig. Sweet looking boat!! I
I got one I need to bring you
Hey Buddy, she's looking stronger and stonger everytime you make a change. This is going to be one of those projects that people will refer back to when the next Bull ask's "Hey guys I'm thinking about fixing my boat up, where do I start?" It's one thing to take on a project, It's quite another thing to have the patience to complete it. There's been several good projects posted over the past couple of years... Another good reason to be a Bull..
My last project a few years ago. 19ft ProLine Sportsman.
Removed everything but the motor. Cut out and re-glassed spider cracks in the bow. Finished with gelcoat and hrs of wet sanding.

Here are some photos during the process:
Dang shooter that thing looked new when you got done with it. Mine is going to look and be better when I am through with it but it will be far from new looking.
Might want to try this matting in the bottom of your boat instead of hydro turf. Alot of folks are saying it is great and costs much less. THey have it at sears and it comes in big rools off amazon. Go to amazon.com and type in anti fatigue roll up grip mat. Get the bigger one. Hope it helps.
I was actually able to use her for 2 yrs and then made a small profit when I sold her. This enabled me to move into the boat I have now. I guess all of the work paid off in the end.

The last two shots above were the first sea trials there on the Wolf River. After running her and checking everything out thoroughly for a couple of hours, we decided to try and get a little slime on her out at Taylor reef.

I checked into this and it coming in lineal foot rolls was great but what I could find only came 46" wide and I would need it at least 48" wide.
