I would love to take my yak to the islands. How do the rest of you get them there? I have a boat but it's 19 feet so they won't fit aboard. Should or could I tow them? That might take a while.

Any advice would be helpful.

We have towed ours all the way to Chandeleuer before. You have to take it very slow and watch the weather. Here's a pic of us idling out of GPT harbor. Coolers in the back of them kept the noses up. These are both heavy yaks, don't know what kind of yak you have. Just take it slow or find a bigger boat to haul yours, haha!

How slow? Mine are lighter but not toys so I might try next weather window.

Think we got up to about 15mph, anything after that they really get "squirrely".
