Island Wade

We did some wade fishing over the Holiday weekend. We started Wednesday evening and caught trout on plastic (Matrix Shad) and topwater action (Skitter Walker). After chilling and grilling for the 4th at island with the family and friends, we went back Saturday evening. Using the same combination we had another good evening. The excitement watching the trout bust the topwater was too much to handle, so we had to plan another trip for Sunday morning. I threw topwater for awhile Sunday morning with a few trout, but after my son and friend started smoking them with the Matrix it didnt take long to tie one on and help fill the fish box.
