What is the law regarding public hunting land being landlocked by private land? There is a lot of good hunting land in MS that the public can't access due to it being landlocked.

It’s legal to land lock public land. That’s happened all across the country. You can fly in with a helicopter.

Absolutely. Just because it is owned by a public (government) entity doesn't mean there is a deeded easement that allows YOU to get to it.

That's a whole issue out west about corner crossing too. Lots of YouTube videos about it the last year or so.

Another thing to consider ---- just because the land is government owned doesn't mean it is open to the public for hunting even if there is available access.
