Got a little more carpet down in between the Honey Do's[smile] Still have both decks to put down and since the carpet is just until I can have the Hydra-Turf installed I am now undecided if I am going to put carpet on the two sidewall areas next the driver and passenger compartments. I may just leave that aluminum until the Hydra-Turf goes in and then have them covered. All the carpet other then the floor will get trim to cover the wood edges that are visible.

I like the last pic. It just looks like she is raring to go!
Looking very good my friend.
Have you been on the boat with the sunlight hitting you okie you are fishing. Might be a big reflector Something to think about.
The biggest majority of the topside aluminum will be covered when it is finally done TW.

Got the guy to throw in a fairly new foot control Minn Kota with the deal. Only a 12V but should be plenty for the boat. It has been sitting in my shed from the start. Figured it would be one of the last things mounted.
Got the front deck carpeted today. Only thing left is rear deck. Would have finished all the carpet today but ran out of carpet stickum down stuff and had to make a run to Lowes to get some more. Anyone know if they make aluminum trim?
They make fairly thin angle aluminum. I know lowes and hd have it, but for the amount you will need you would want to get it from a metal supplier I'd imagine. And I think the stuff at those stores is a bit thicker than you really need for trim.
Check out bargainboatparts.com might give you an idea of what's out there.
That doesn't even look like the same boat SJ, You have done an incredible job on it. Can't wait to start seeing some reports coming out of it.

Made a big difference in looks today by getting the front deck completely carpeted.
Just think how good it's going to feel once that engine cranks and you know, it's time...
