Well, I was the only female that called in tonight. I asked where did the MDWFP intend on putting youth season if this bill passes.................My answer from them was.....................NOTHING!!! I am not impressed!

That was my 2nd call-in show. The first time was The Paul Gallo Show and as soon as I told them I was aganist the bill, I was hung up on. Tonight, the minute I mentioned infringing on bowhunters, they were ready to get me off the phone!

Haha!! I heard you and it pissed me off too!! The funny thing is that anytime anyone mentioned the word bow they were ready to get off the air!! When someone mentioned that they were for the bills they said that's great and that they needed to call their representatives and let them know!! It really makes me mad because they will not just come out and say we need the money!!! I would rather them raise the sportsman's license to $100 than to change the season. Think about it, how much money do we spend on hunting and fishing every year? Will another $65 a year break anyone that is already purchasing the sportsman license? That is the biggest bargain going, you can hunt anything we have a season on and fish for anything you want year around, if you ask me that's a steal of a deal.

Does this really surprise ya'll?? personally i like the bill but only because it gives me a chance to hunt before everyone around here starts running dogs but i do believe they should listen to what the majority of people want. but im not surprised they did that because i think a lot the reason the other forum is closing is b/c they didnt like hearing that the people didnt like the bill. just my opinion for what its worth, if it crossed any rule lines please let me know and i will learn to keep my mouth shut from now on. sorry in advance if i broke the rules

ladyhunter,they gave  me the snub several years ago ,my question was     Can anyone tell me the difference between disabled and handycapped as far as the current rules apply , then suddenly they had to break for a commercial and a gentleman came on the phone and said ,Sir we will have to get back to you on this and then hung up .

I wish they would hurry up and do something so I can plan what I an going to do. I want to buy a new bow but I can't justify it with the changes . During the gun season I take my grandkids and kids hunting so I don't get to bow hunt then.

They will not answer anything that contradicts with what they want. I mean think about it.. You had a State run forum that would have been the best Survey tool in the state being that it was comprised of memebers from every part of the state. How many times did they use the site to get feedback from hunters?

you still have 123 days to bowhunt..... according to the Dept bowhunters have more opportunity to harvest deer than anybody else. Now the question is.... Is there anybody, anybody that is not insane really believe this.... come on MDWFP get real
