To me 3 Rods = 1 Jig, 1 Topwater/Jerkbait, 1 Popping Cork. Which would be 2 baitcasters and 1 spinning rod.
Need opinions!
1. Ok I have to place a rod order for the tourney, not gonna say from where just year but there is gonna be 3 yellow mouth fever rods coming this way, should I get all casting, all spinning or what combination?!? Figuring this will be added to a an already amazing monthly prize!
2. Ok we are paying entry fees out 100% to 10th place, and have a bonus of $500 for 1st provided by an awesome local sponsor, question is we have a lot of prizes do we let all the prizes go with 1st place overall or break them up over the 10 places?!?
3. Open the tournament to anyone who wants to fish it, or just mississippi recreational licensed anglers?!?

I say:
1. Mixture of rods
2. Splits the prizes for all 10 places
3. MS only.
I know the MS only will make some mad but as said about the Commercial License holders, can't make everyone happy.

Hook and line anglers also have a recreational license as well from what I been told
1: What about a voucher for the rods? The winner can then choose their particular style/preference.
2: Break it up. Obviously with a smaller amount the lower one places.

(1) I was going to say spinnning for all rods because not everyone uses casting rods but it seems like nearly everyone has at least one spinning outfit. Plus I think people are more picky when it comes to casting rods but open to more options for spinning. (all that said, Chief's voucher idea is awesome)
