This buck has been a ghost since before bow season. But within the last week he has been in two areas about a half mile apart during daylight hours. I checked the cameras and saw he’d been in this one particular spot twice within the last 24 hours. That’s where I sat this afternoon.
At 4:45 3 smaller bucks came through headed to the food plot east of me. At 5 this buck walked by me at about 50 yards and that’s where I piled him up.
I didn’t weigh him but he was heavy…and I felt it trying to load him on the 4 wheeler. Or maybe I’m just getting old!
