i put these legs on my boss buck protein feeder. Now i only feed deer from the 3 prong gravity head!!! Very satisfied with the results so far!! ***** don't hardly look at the legs to climb.. i have my camera on "video" and its very good proof that this product works!! highly recommend

 

I have to get a set of these to try in my on-time feeder. Right now I just wipe the legs with a lot of Vaseline to keep ***** off legs.

 

I have a couple of moultries and was trying to come up with a way to keep the ***** and squirrels off. Them squirrels like to chew things up.

 

A friend mine put pvc pipe on his feeder legs up near the barrel attached with wire. I think he used 12-15 inch long sections of 2.5 or 3 inch diameter pipe so it's too large for a **** to grab and wire lets it roll around so it's unstable.

 

The problem I see with those is that you either have to be able to drive a vehicle under the feeder or have a step ladder handy when you need to fill it. We've always just hung them from trees using a boat winch. Makes filling them MUCH easier.

 

I already have to drive my bike to fill feeder. I try to do it mid day though. I'm too lazy to walk with 50# sacks! lol
