How hard is it to get around there? I am thinking of doing a little squirrel hunting and was wondering how hard it is to get around. I don't walk as good as I once did and was wondering about the terrain.

I squirrel hunt the southern part of the WMA quite a bit. All the roads coming off Wade Vancleave road have a lot of pull outs and well maintained trails off the sides. As long as its not flooding (the roads close when the water reaches 13 feet at Graham's Ferry) the wide flat trails are great. This website shows the flood stage.

I usually spend about half my time on the trails and half wandering off the trails. Both can be productive.

Your welcome. I drove by today and the roads were still closed from the flood. Hopefully by the end of the week........
