I've got a box call that i really like. Another stupid question, Is a slate easier to use that a glass. Bought a glass...hated it. Oh yeah....is it really nesessary to take a bunch of call with ya? [huh]

junkyard you might want to try a different kind of striker on your glass it could be the problem. push buttons are easy to use but I haven't picked on up in years, they may sound better now days but years ago they sounded real rough. I would try and use the box call and get a mouth call and try and get to where you can maybe make a soft yelp and clucks on it for when the gobbler gets close and both hands need to be on your gun. More turkeys have been killed off of box calls than any other call ever made.

its a primos spring hen, a all wood one, i buy every one i can find on e-bay, and i ask MR.Primos to bring back the the real spring hen a few years back and i did get screamed it the the new one was way better......right... it is the only production call i will use ever...but i guess they dont produce it anymore....
