I watch the hunting public, and they have done some videos with him. I sure does look like it works. I think at a minimum it gives you a better opportunity for success in less than perfect shots. I think the main thing is taking close range shots, but even then things can go wrong. I haven’t gone that direction yet, but I may soon.
Of course heavy arrows will work but they're simply not necessary. With adult poundage, 400 grs and up will work fine as long as the arrow flies straight and is tipped with a sharp broadhead. Shot selection and placement are equally important.
