Ya know, that's not a bad idea. Hook it in the middle and it would give it that lifelike pop that shrimp doI wonder if you could rig a shrimp bait the way you do a wacky worm rig.
The thing I think would help out too is a nail weight in the tail and the softest shrimp bait you could find. I have alot of good ideas for baits just don't get to fish enough to to try them out.[laugh]Ya know, that's not a bad idea. Hook it in the middle and it would give it that lifelike pop that shrimp do
Welp academy is sold out... jk not yet at least I hope.I will probably regret putting this out there but....a 4" Senko rigged wacky in "toxic snot" Chart body with green and chart glitter under a cork is very, very effective on trout....everywhere I have tried it.....if you tie the leader long enough to almost touch bottom, those flat fish eat it up as well. [omg][sneaky]

True statement. I've caught trout and reds using a watermelon 3 inch senko on a drop shot rig. Great action.I will probably regret putting this out there but....a 4" Senko rigged wacky in "toxic snot" Chart body with green and chart glitter under a cork is very, very effective on trout....everywhere I have tried it.....if you tie the leader long enough to almost touch bottom, those flat fish eat it up as well.
