What I heard too from someone close to the situation. New show called Hardcore with the Primos guys.
Hope "hardcore" better than the last couple years of primos shows...

And that's "the TRUTH" .........[biggrin]
I haven't been much of a Primos fan since "Cuss" Ronnie left to go to Mossy Oak...Some of you young wiper-snappers may not remember back to those days..
Ol boy, that hunting industry is cut throat. Hope they make it. Good luck with that! Corporate probably had them boys headed for the door anyway. Till this day I don't understand why they have a hunting team anyway after Will sold the company. They could just sponsor shockey, lee and Tiffany, Waddell and some others and save 3 million a year. Looks like corporate headed that way. No need and throwing away 4million when 1 million in sponsors does the same thing. Their show has slumped over the last few years, guess that's why they hired a new producer
I wish em well ,, like trey said ,, it's a very tuff industry
Maybe they can get back to there roots and film some " down home " real turkey hunts , with out blinds and a flock of decoys . And I'd rather watch them film and shot a delta 4 pt , then a hash knife $10, 000 B&C buck .
All hunting shows suck! They are like watching a never ending infomercial. They don't even qualify as"reality TV".
shows

I enjoyed the old Primos shows when Dean was there. Definitely a tough industry but i have to say i have enjoyed their show more than most on outdoor channel. I do like the old mississippi hard wood hunts and food plot hunts.

Jolly, Chuck Jones....I remember :)
Primos used to be my favorite. Then it became just like the rest. I watch none of them now. Every once in a while I will watch "meateater".
Wish them all well, but I'll not notice any difference. Never have cared for or watched modern hunting shows. Most are all about peddling gimmicks to tinhorns. Do enjoy some of the old ones with Fred Bear, Ben Pearson, etc.

I am with you on that. I used to watch Primos and Realtree Outdoors years ago. But I do not watch any of them now.
I can't watch any of the shows now. Just using the term "hardcore" tells me the new show will be terrible. I wish someone would come out with a show that had very little talking and mostly footage of animals in the wild. They can thank all their sponsors at the end. Tell us where they are hunting and the conditions and then just let the camera roll. Go back to the original Truth videos when Cuz was there and they hunted at rattlesnake.
Dean Davis and his wife have a new show that's pretty good. Saw it the other night but can't remember the name.

"Just Hunt" is the name of it.

The original "Truth About Spring Turkey Hunting" was watched the night before opening day every year for many years at our house. I've tried to get a DVD of it and tried calling Primos about it to no evail. Wish shows would get back to the old ways like that video.
