Sat morn West side Wade

After months of missed opportunities to pair up for a wade, the stars finally aligned last Saturday. Daniel Dalozi and I met up around daybreak and hit the water casting. Wasn't too long before I missed a real nice fish on a skitter walk in less than knee deep water. We must have caught 30 shorts just under 13". Then a nice 20" Red showed up and found his way in my basket. Daniel was putting on a clinic with a Deadly Dudley blue moon and I was holding my own with a green hornet. Plenty of finger mullet and glass minnows busting in every direction. We both had a few good ones get off at the net. Wound up with a couple 18" & 15" Specs and a nice Red. The best part was finally getting together with Daniel and sharing a stretch of shoreline. One more thing to report, we saw lots of Rays in shallow water. Be careful and always do the stingray shuffle..

Glad you were able to get together and find some fish. Still looking for the day the stars, the sun, the moon, the tides, the waves, the cows, the traffic, the satellites and everything else to line up for us to get together and wet a line. Blessings my friend.
Nice report wild bill. Hope you get out again before yo have to go offshore again.
Nice report, wild bill. Sounds like a fun trip! I noticed the amount of rays over there the past few days as well

Wild Bill....it was great finally being able to meet up and do some fishing. Sorry we didnt end up with a lot of keepers, but it was fun just catching fish even if they were small. For those who have never met Bill, he is an outstanding guy. If you ever get a chance to fish with him, or even just to talk with him, you will find out quick, he has tremendous character and is a great fisherman. Bill mentioned, I was putting on a clinic. I would have to say it was the other way around. I caught several but I also missed/lost more fish than I could count...I know you are fixing to head back to work for a while, but when you get back, just give me a shout, and we will try and meet up once again to wet a line.
sure sounds like constant action!

great report, thanks for sharing! a lot of useful info in there!
Gave it another go this morning but they just were having it. Wound up catching five. Two keepers and three shorts. Beautiful morning, the water was like glass. I suppose the rain we had yesterday pushed em out, but it was nice just to go. All five caught on the green hornet - steady retrieve.
for those who have never met bill, he is an outstanding guy.
