3 miles south of barrier islands. Most GPS units, especially upgraded with a chip will show the line.
Don't want you to give your spots but can you share some more? There are reefs "inshore" that have nice snapper up to 15 pounds inside the islands.
Just north of the west end of Petite Bois and the Pass in 15 feet of water. Don't have the numbers, but they are there.Don't want you to give your spots but can you share some more?
Inshore, if you don't want to fish the "newly aquired waters", which I can't say I blame you..there are a couple of wrecks real close to the three mile line south of the east end of horn/petis bois area. Also try the sea bouys marking the channel south of the islands..every so often you can catch a legal snapper on them. The only spot "inside" in state waters where legal sized red snapper are occasionally caught is the eastern side of the state real close to deep water and the passes..Don't want you to give your spots but can you share some more?
I wouldn't count on those spots. They got hit hard in the first season due to the rough weather offshore.Just north of the west end of Petite Bois and the Pass in 15 feet of water. Don't have the numbers, but they are there.
Yes. [wink]Is that State or Fed water?
Further than 3nm but less than 9nm to those rigs. It would be in the disputed zoneHow far is the triple rig SE of Petite Bois? Is that State or Fed water?
I'm sure plenty will try it but I won't be one risking it. It's not illegal unless the Feds stop youFurther than 3nm but less than 9nm to those rigs. It would be in the disputed zone
There used to be an old Volkswagon on the bottom right around the area you are talking about and we would catch the heck out of snapper and 3Tail over it.Just north of the west end of Petite Bois and the Pass in 15 feet of water. Don't have the numbers, but they are there.
