Anyone tried these yet? I have one order but haven’t receive it yet. The reviews and picture quality look good. For $99 I figured I would try one.

I have 2 of them. So far, best cellular cam for the money out there. Their reliability, so far, vastly exceeds spypoint.

The pic quality is excellent in both day and night. Very bright flash. My only issues with them right now are some functions of their app. However, they have been very responsive to the FB group comments and the app is supposed to be updated very soon to address those issues (pic scrolling for viewing and a mass delete function vs. having to individually delete pics).

Set up is simple. If you have the camera, 12 AA batteries, a sandisk 32G class 10 U1 or U3 card, your cell phone with cellular service and your credit card, you can set it up and have pics coming to your cell phone in under 5 minutes.

When mine first came in, I put it in my front yard to get pics of deer eating pears. I was getting 100+ pics a night with no problems. Moved them to camp and they are still working fine. In fact, they are working in places I couldn't get spypoints to catch a signal.

If you decide to get one, don't use a cheap SD card in them. Cell cams require a very fast transfer rate on the SD cards. Cheap off-brand SD cards often misrepresent their transfer rate which can lead to problems.

I got one yesterday and set it out today. I’m getting pics as I type this (just stupid ***** for now)

One thing I don’t like is there is no option to send more than one pic at a time and no option to designate a time for pics to be sent. As soon as the camera takes a picture I get it on my phone. I’m not sure how that eats into the battery life but supposedly there will be an update to the app coming out this week to fix that. I’ve barely had it out for a day but you can’t beat it for the price.

How much does the plan costs?
$120 year for first camera unlimited pictures. $99 for second camera. Or $13 month first and $12 for second if you do it monthly. They have cheaper plans with set limits on the number of pictures. If you do a year plan for two cameras it will cost you $9 per month per camera.

Battery life

How's the battery life on this camera?
Make sure you use good lithium batteries and the battery life is great! They're a little more expensive but worth paying the extra. I first used regular ole batteries and they lasted maybe three months. I replaced them with lithium about six months ago and they're still at 50%
