Just wondering if anyone has had a close encounter with a Tarpon yet? Seems late last summer there were a few posts around Flat Boat or Pass Maranie. Biglouie or Topwater you fellas hooked up yet?

Not this year, I haven't heard of any yet, I saw on Facebook Trophy Trout Charters was talking about tarpon in lake ponchartrain last week

Haven't heard of any in our waters yet. Usually around this time I see a few out near Ship, but nothing yet.

I know a guy from mobile that caught a small one at chandelier a couple if weeks ago in the surf. It's was small, he said maybe 30 lbs. there was also one weighed in at the AL rodeo, not sure where it was caught.
