It was bound to rub off on her. Kyle is a fishes worst nightmare and looks like the mojo is rubbing off on Mrs Perry also. This is a beast Crappie she caught yesterday. I've fished for white perch for most of my first 30 years and never caught anything like that!!!!!!! The fish weighed in at 4 pounds!

Great job!

Good grief! That's a slab! Congrats to her!
Whooooaaaaaaaaa!
I've fished the Old River around Natchez for years and never seen one that big. Great job
Get out the cooker! That sucker will make a bunch of nuggets.
wow!!!!!!
Sorry guys, Dana, we found out my boga grip went bad. Weighed on some calibrated kitchen scales, and its 2lb 3oz. 16 inch fish. We weighed on the boga as soon as we got it in the boat, and it was reading 4 lbs. it wasn't until laterI looked to see what. 16 inch crappie "should" weigh, and its in the two pound range, 2.5. Oh well, its a best for my wife though! We ended up with 55 crappie in 3 hours today on the potomac, most of the fish were 12-13 inches...good crappie.
No need to apologize for a 2.5 pound White perch Kyle!!! That sir would still qualify as a slab!
2 1/2 or 4 pounds that thing is still a freak of nature!
I was expecting her to weigh more. She had very broad shoulders and a deep, dinner plate shape. With eggs i think she could have been close to 3 lbs.
All of the Perry's are fishing machine's.

Seriously though, this is a testament to how good of a fisherman Kyle is...he's been there less than a year and he's catching box fulls of slabs. You flat out get it done dude!
I grew up crappie fishing and that is a hoss!
2+ pound crappie is still a big crappie.
Awsome catch. My dad drug me around to all of the lakes up on hwy 26 in bendale jerkin perch on cane poles and slater jigs back in the day 2 lbs is a heck of a catch. Good to see that y'all are doing good up there Congrats
Your dad must have bought you to Hudson Cochran daisy and all of them lakes. I grew up white perch fishing and still do it a lot. That's a good one I've only seen 2 that go 4+ my grandpa caught one and my uncle the other. My biggest is 3 lb 5 oz. I'll tell you right now idk any fish that's better then a good crispy fried white perch.

An absolute true definition of a fisherman, of which obvisiously defines this gentleman. Very well stated.

A very good crappie and a nice photo. Love the little boy watching. Making memories!!!
BTW, all of my fish weigh more in print than on the scales [biggrin].
Gulf coast.

You got it. Mcraes, big lake, daisy, Upper and lower rines, sandy slough and a few others Back then none had boat ramps. Drug aluminum skiff a good ways loaded down with trolling motor battery and cooler. Good ole days. Lots more fish back then. Biggest I ever caught was a little over three pounds on a slater jig pole and slater jig we bought from mr buster Everest's gas station on lamey bridge road by highway 15

Back then my dad would keep me out of school so I could help him drag the boat out of the back of the truck and through the woods. Never understood why we would stay out there for so long regardless of how many fish we were catching but now I understand completely. 7th and 8th grade was a long time ago
I grew up on hwy 15 so I know all bout all them places. Some good times I remember going into the slough dragging a boat and getting ate up by deer flies. Also used to chain our boats in there and never have to worry about anything. That wouldn't happen now a days it's a bunch of great memories fishing all them places. I still go every now and again with my cousin catch a few but not like we used y that's for sure.
